About Me

Thanks for taking an interest in my blog and the information/discussions it is meant to provide. Here is a little information about myself and my work.

I have enjoyed many years in an executive career and held a wide variety of key positions in corporate environments. I’ve been a successful Retailer, Restaurateur, Internet Entrepreneur and even found the time to contribute to the business community as a Career Coach and Small Business Adviser. In what little free time I have away from the office, I’ve enjoyed working as a College Instructor, Public Speaker and Seminar Participant.

All of these roles have yielded results beyond my expectations and there are many accomplishments that I am extremely proud of. But no matter what I have chosen to take on in life, I have done it with a sincere passion for generating positive results from my efforts (personal ROI if you will), whether that be on strategic business initiatives or even personal growth projects.

To me, “Always in the Black!”™ is more than just a catchy tagline. It is the end result of vetting multiple combinations of business principles, market scenarios, competitive factors, asset resources and product/service offerings. I feel it supports what I like to call the “final symphony of success”. It’s easy to guess, fail and believe hope (mixed with some luck) will generate success, but it really takes smart, careful and purposeful levels of effort to create “monster” success in business and in life.

On a personal side: I consider myself a perpetual student and have four academic acknowledgements hanging on my wall including a B.A. (business management), Postbac/CPA (accounting), MBA (marketing, finance, economics) and FA (Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu). I enjoy supporting Junior Achievement, the Mensa Educational Foundation and other youth-oriented charities.

Again, thank you for visiting and feel free to bookmark this site. A great place to find me is on Twitter (@ThinkCEO), but you can also subscribe using the RSS button, “follow” this blog, or sign up for email notifications.

Thanks and may success be found in each of your long life’s endeavors!
